![]() Hyper-V: Afaik hyper-v currently isn't supported on Arm64 windows but I'd bet if this eventually gets brought over it'll be the easiest way to run virtual machines on win/arm64. I doubt such a build exists but I could be surprised. I think if I recall if the virtual machine platform isn't installed, Vbox should be able to take control of hardware virtualization resources so it's "possible" but you'd need to get a native Arm64 build of Vbox which knows how to use Arm MMUs and SMMUs. I'd have to read more about Hyper-V and KVM's support for nested virtualization) I don't think it would even run on WSL2 (I could be wrong. KVM: is a Virtualization platform supported by the Linux kernel so it wouldn't run on Windows. One big downside though of all of these is it wouldn't be able to take advantage of virtualization technologies that Qemu can plug into (KVM, HAX, etc.). This should be possible with minimal hair-pulling. Native Linux/Arm64 port in WSL: An easier solution for Qemu would be to build it in the WSL environment as a Linux Arm64 app.iirc it uses MSYS2 / MinGW to make windows builds so a native Windows Arm64 exe of Qemu likely won't be easy without support from MinGW. Native Windows/Arm64 port: Qemu could theoretically be rebuilt on Arm64.Emulated x86 version: Would likely work, but I highly don't recommend trying this.
